This would be the biggest rip off and shittiest breakfast tucker (food) in NZ at Arthur's Pass. That small plate of porridge (oatmeal) is pretty shallow and 17 bucks not worth. Wheat toast which 1 slice was white was the thinnest u could cut bread. Bastards. For the record , Fregs bacon and eggs were his worst breakfast as well. This Kea bird is extremely smart and highly protected. They have a super strong beak and peck grubs out of wood. The down side is they peck rubber out of windshields, pieces off helmets, holes in seats and so on. This one was in and around our bikes at 10 am. Our mate Andrew invited us to breakfast this morning at his place in Invercargill. His kind wife Patrice made us an awesome breakfast of pancakes, bacon, toast, coffee, tea, etc. 1st class. Arrived today in Invercargill, the home of Burt Munro. 1st stop is Hayes Hardware. Burt sold Hayes his bike donkeys years ago which his original bike resides in here. A little known fact, Hayes funded Burt's trips to the US, not the bank. We learned so much from Neville Hayes today. You supplied parts for my 48 Chief and we met in Taupo. Nice fulla Barry (in foreground). That was 20 years ago. We've run into a few blokes like that. Its a small country. It trips us up every time that the green nozzle is gas (called petrol down here) regular 91 octane. In the US, green means Diesel. Better remember correctly when we get back to the US.
