Our
mate Andrew invited us to breakfast this morning at his place in
Invercargill. His kind wife Patrice made us an awesome breakfast of
pancakes, bacon, toast, coffee, tea, etc. 1st class. And son Simon was
left to do the dishes as we rode off through the Catlins countryside

Had
a bit of a headlight malfunction so Mini allowed us use of his shop and
had a new socket connector on hand. Cheap ass Chinese shit connector.

Arrived
today in Invercargill, the home of Burt Munro. 1st stop is Hayes
Hardware. Burt sold Hayes his bike donkeys years ago which his original
bike resides in here. A little known fact, Hayes funded Burt's trips to
the US, not the bank. We learned so much from Neville Hayes today. One

sitting all by itself and this guy comes up to me and says, I know you,
you are Mike Tomas. You supplied parts for my 48 Chief and we met in
Taupo. Nice fulla Barry (in foreground). That was 20 years ago. We've
run into a few blokes like that. Its a small country. Obviously not a
quick gas and go NASCAR pit stop. Our usual is a yarn (chat) at each
stop with everyone. Our vintage Indians bring out the best in people,

over the Crown Highway between Wanaka and Queenstown we came across
